Senior Manager (Sponsorship & Engagement), ACD

What the role is

• To enable Community Arts & Culture as a means of building and bridging communities and empowering a volunteer-driven arts movement.

• To play an active role in business development through identifying, securing, managing, and growing sponsorships as well as building strategic partnerships. This involves close collaboration with other PA Divisions and external groups to leverage and enhance resources that will benefit the community and enable high quality and refreshing programmes.

• To ensure excellent experience delivery for sponsors, partners and the public through a seamless ticketing and hospitality system for the division’s programmes.

What you will be working on

Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job:

Partnership Development and Engagement

  • Involve in the planning of strategic collaborations with partners as well as to identify and develop new partners.
  • Oversee the engagement of partners at PA and Arts & Culture Division’s (ACD) engagement platforms; include manage and support building a good network of partners and stakeholders to enhance PAssionArts and Chingay’s outreach and engagement.
  • Perform the role of relationship manager in engaging partners at PA and ACD’s platforms, identify opinion leaders and engage them for communications and feedback gathering.
  • Facilitate community engagement initiatives/programmes to enable active residents’ participation and co-creation process, which will be presented at Chingay and/or suitable PAssionArts platforms.

Marketing and Sponsorship

  • Support the planning and development of marketing and sponsorship strategies to expand the sponsorship pool for division’s programmes including Chingay and PAssionArts.
  • Develop and tailor marketing and sponsorship proposals and materials to support outreach and engagement of sponsors and partners, as well as enable community programmes.
  • Prepare sponsorship agreements and ensure contractual obligations are met, including optimising sponsor’s exposure through public relation effort and social media.
  • Prepare post-event reports and sponsor debriefs.

Ticketing & Hospitality Administration

  • Manage the administration of tickets which include allocation, ticket sales to identified stakeholders, distribution and reporting.
  • Work with ticketing partners to oversee sales performance, monitor revenue tracking, and ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of ticket sales for all events and programmes.
  • Manage relationship with key stakeholders and coordinate hospitality guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, seating arrangement and VIP experiences for sponsors (e.g. exclusive invites, car decal, photo opps).
  • Provide on-site support at event to ensure the seamless execution of hospitality experiences.

    Other Duties

    • Guide junior officers in ACD in achieving the overall programme and community outcomes.
    • Support in procurement and administrative matters to ensure adhere to prevailing Financial and Procurement guidelines.
    • Perform secretarial and other duties as assigned by the senior officers of ACD.

    Knowledge & Skills
    At least three years of experience in sponsorship, partnerships or events role with good knowledge of the arts & culture sector

    Others
    • Possess excellent IT skills including data management and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
    • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
    • Experience working with ticketing platforms.
    • Strong administrative skills with an excellent eye for detail.
    • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
    • Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
