What the role is

Be an integral part of the International Relations team by supporting both inbound and outbound programmes. This role calls for a customer-focused individual with strong planning and administrative skills to manage programme coordination, including budgeting, procurement, and logistics. The candidate should work collaboratively with colleagues and to engage student volunteers across schools to participate in the programme; to ensure smooth implementation of inbound programmes for overseas participants. Additionally, the role involves supporting promotional and outreach activities to schools and students for NYP’s outbound overseas learning and education programmes.

What you will be working on

  • Plan, organise, and execute inbound programmes for overseas students and participants (primarily from China), ensuring meaningful interaction and engagements during their stay at NYP.
  • Develop and manage budgets for inbound programmes, including logistics and  procurement, as well as coordination of hospitality services. 
  • Curate, coordinate and execute the inbound programme for overseas participants.
  • Administer with external funding agency inbound/outbound overseas programmes which encompasses proposal and budget preparation, liaison with schools, consolidation of programme reports, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Promote and outreach to schools and students on overseas education & learning programmes.

What we are looking for

  • Be customer-centric, approachable, and willing to address customer needs proactively.
  • Able to manage programme planning and development, including budgeting, procurement, logistics coordination, and execution.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth implementation of inbound programmes,  and able to engage student volunteers to host and interact with overseas student participants.
  • Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving and adaptability in handling unexpected challenges during programme execution.
  • Able to engage and communicate effectively with participants from China.
  • Basic graphic design skills will be an added advantage.
