Assistant Director (Medical Systems Project Management)

What the role is

You are responsible for ensuring project timelines are properly tracked and close monitoring of all project milestones to ensure successful implementation of a new medical system.

What you will be working on

- Conduct in-depth project planning and develop implementation roadmap - Manage project timelines - Oversee budget and resource management, ensuring prudent and appropriate use of funds and timely payment to vendors - Collate and prepare updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders - Participate in business requirement gathering - Spearhead change management and communication efforts - Ensure timely and effective communication of new medical system changes to ground-users, servicemen and other stakeholders - Manage risks, dependencies and timelines in complex, multi-year, multi-stakeholder projects Challenge(s) - Working in dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing project timelines and ensuring successful implementation of new medical systems - Managing stakeholders including administrators, clinicians, management, technical agencies and vendors - Spearheading change management and communication efforts

What we are looking for

- Education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, Project Management, Public Health or a related field - At least 6 years of experience in procurement, contract management and vendor management - Experience in end-to-end IT project delivery including managing risks, dependencies and timelines in complex, multi-year, multi-stakeholder projects - Experience in designing and delivering communication campaigns (internal and external) - Strong project management capabilities - Ability in developing and executing management strategies for policy, process or implementation - Familiarity with IT implementation projects including requirement gathering, testing and rollout planning Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
