What the role is

You will be part of a team to develop a structured, ready-to-run National Education (NE) engagement programme through establishing partnerships and enhancing programme operations through digitalisation while supporting the development of programme framework and processes.

What you will be working on

- Digitalise operational workflows by creating digital systems for volunteer management, feedback collection, content delivery and programme monitoring to enhance efficiency and scalability - Support establishment of programme frameworks and digitalise processes including programme structure, appointment processes, governance and feedback mechanisms - Build partnerships and coordinate stakeholders by developing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with stakeholders to expand NE Ambassadors pool and maximise programme's reach and impact - Explore digital tools to enhance communication and coordination - Build NE Ambassadors' competencies by enhancing their knowledge and capabilities through leveraging digital platforms to share contemporaneous content and provide online resources and interactive engagement tools - Support development of brand, publicity materials and collaterals for programme across physical and digital platforms

What we are looking for

- Strong command of both spoken and written English - Mature with excellent interpersonal skills, patience and pleasant disposition - Meticulous and detail-oriented - Problem-solving perspective on issues with ability to help team move towards viable solutions in timely manner - Comfortable with multi-tasking and tracking and driving multiple workstreams concurrently - Organisational and project management skills to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously - Interest in National Education and volunteer management - Familiarity with digital platforms and tools is advantageous The traineeship will be for a period of 6 months. Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
