What the role is
What you will be working on
1. Technical Advisory Support: Assist in reviewing vendor proposals, technical specifications, material samples, and shop drawings. Support the Superintendent Officer in evaluating feasibility, quality standards, compliance, and provide technical input for approval decisions.
2. Quality Oversight Assistance: Support monitoring of design and build progress from setting-out through commissioning phases. Assist in identifying potential issues and recommending corrective measures to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
3. Vendor Liaison Support: Assist the S.O in communications with contractors and vendors, facilitating understanding of technical requirements. Support evaluation of change requests and coordinate sample approvals and shop drawing reviews under S.O guidance.
4. Innovation and Technology Integration: Explore innovative technologies and digital solutions that complement the renovation project, researching for product that align with the renovated centre and operational needs.
What we are looking for
1. Understanding of construction processes, building systems, renovation methodologies, material specifications, and relevant Singapore building codes and regulations.
2. Familiarity with shop drawing interpretation, quality control procedures, and construction documentation.
3. Knowledge of modern technologies, smart systems and digital workplace solutions
4. Strong analytical abilities

6. Good communication skills for technical discussions
7. Ability to work collaboratively under supervision
8. Comfortable working in construction environments
