What you will be working on
Content Development
- Research, pitch, and draft story ideas relevant to jobseekers, workers, and employers.
- Assist in writing and editing feature articles, interviews, explainers, and listicles.
- Support scriptwriting for podcasts, videos, and social content.
Interviews & Storytelling
- Assist in conducting interviews with individuals, employers, and partners.
- Help transcribe and shape real stories into authentic, engaging narratives.
Editorial & Publishing Support
- Assist in fact-checking, sourcing images, and preparing articles for publication on the site.
- Ensure that the article is SEO optimised
What we are looking for
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related fields.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for storytelling.
- Curious, resourceful, and able to pitch story ideas independently.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks.
- Comfortable interacting with people (for interviews and research).
- Basic knowledge of CMS or social media publishing is a plus.
- Interest in career, workforce, and human interest stories is a bonus.
