What you will be working on
The Leadership & Talent Development team in HTX HR Division plays a pivotal role in building the organisation’s talent pipeline, crafting the career journeys that turn today's promising employees into tomorrow's leaders.
Job Responsibilities
Your role is that of a Leadership Acceleration & Succession Architect, where you will design, govern, and embed leadership systems that ensure HTX has a strong, ready, and values-driven leadership bench across all levels.
1. Champion Leadership Succession
You will partner senior management and HR Business Partners to design and execute robust succession planning and leadership talent review processes. You will:
• Support the identification and mapping of mission-critical leadership roles across HTX.
• Assess bench strength, readiness, and risk to ensure HTX maintains a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline.
• Maintain leadership readiness through structured tools such as succession heatmaps, bench dashboards, and leader movement tracking.
• Enable evidence-based succession decisions aligned to HTX’s mission, leadership philosophy, and future capability needs.
2. Elevate Leadership Excellence
Leading initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and effectiveness, you will:
• Lead initiatives such as 360-degree feedback exercises and executive coaching, ensuring they are purposeful, well-governed, and development-oriented.
• Work with leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities in areas such as leading technical teams, building a strong feedback practice, and managing complex stakeholders.
• Partner OD and HR colleagues to ensure leadership interventions are integrated, sequenced, and reinforced through real work.
3. Empower New Leaders
To enable newly appointed leaders to transition effectively and succeed in role, you will:
• Create onboarding toolkits, transition resources, and peer networks that support leaders during critical leadership transitions.
• Identify common leadership challenges specific to HTX and design interventions to address them.
4. Build Leadership Infrastructure, Culture, and Brand
You will ensure leadership excellence is sustained through systems, not one-off programmes. You will:
• Drive the embedding of HTX’s leadership framework into daily leadership practices, routines, and expectations.
• Contribute to leadership storytelling and communications that reinforce what good leadership looks like in HTX.
• Partner stakeholders to strengthen leadership culture through practice.
The above workstreams are central to HTX’s broader HR and organisational strategy, ensuring leadership continuity, effectiveness, and trust across the organisation.
What we are looking for
Competencies & Traits That Would Make You Suitable
• Good understanding of HR operations and strong business acumen. Prior experience in Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Talent Management, and/or Organisational Development would be useful.
• Ability to translate leadership philosophy into practical programmes, tools, and routines that leaders actually use.
• Strong systems thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to balance rigour with organisational realities.
• Innovative mindset that allows you to work like an entrepreneur in getting problems solved; comfortable with rapid prototyping and scaling what works.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing without formal authority.
• Genuine interest in developing people and building organisational capability, particularly in technical or mission-driven environments.
