Senior Executive (Integrated Services Centre) - 2yr contract

What the role is

The job holder will be assigned to one of the main desk within the Services Centre. The job holder will assist in ensuring the integrity and reputation of the work unit. He/she will lead a team of officers to ensure the smooth operations of the Services Centre and to work closely with strategic partners for current and future projects. To support future growth in demand for ICA services, a new Integrated Services Centre (ISC). It will boast integrated digital systems equipped with latest biometric and automation technologies that will allow ICA to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness while offering convenient and secured services to our customers. The job holder will be re-designated in ISC and may be working on different portfolios. This is a 2-year contract position.

What you will be working on

i. Review and recommend improvements to current and future operational procedures, and leverage technology to ensure service excellence for the Services Centre; ii. Process applications and appeals in accordance to ICA policy framework and the relevant legislations; iii. Conduct investigation on cases and prepare case for further enforcement / prosecution, where necessary; iv. Oversee the day-to-day operations, with a team of officers, to ensure that products are delivered in a secure, accurate and timely manner; v. Oversee the smooth operations of the IT systems in the work unit and liaise with vendors/strategic partners to troubleshoot problems detected and/or drive system enhancements; vi. Handle queries and feedbacks from members of public; vii. Manage, plan and execute training and development of officers under his charge; viii. Perform all other duties as and when assigned by the supervisor.

Prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and under tight deadlines. vi. Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
