What you will be working on
Reporting to the Director (Business Development), your role as an Manager/Assistant Director, Business Development for the SICC is critical to the organisation's success. You will promote the SICC internationally, build stakeholder relationships, and position Singapore as a leading dispute resolution hub.
Strategic Development & Market Intelligence:
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis of international dispute resolution institutions
• Develop comprehensive stakeholder mapping and database management
• Support corporate counsel engagement strategies and sectoral campaigns
• Coordinate international roadshows and overseas engagement missions
Programme & Event Management:
• Plan and execute flagship conferences, colloquia, and seminars
• Coordinate international court-to-court engagement programmes and roundtables
• Manage logistics and support materials for judicial speaking engagements
• Oversee planning and implementation of legal education series and programmes
Digital Strategy & Content Management:
• Support SICC website revamp and ongoing content management
• Develop and execute LinkedIn growth strategy and social media engagement
• Create business development content for various platforms and stakeholder communications
• Prepare market intelligence reports and strategic briefing materials
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:
• Handle complex business development enquiries and relationship development
• Coordinate high-level stakeholder meetings and international delegation visits
• Support partnership development with dispute resolution institutions
• Manage corporate counsel and sectoral outreach initiatives
What we are looking for
• Bachelor's degree in law, business, international relations, or related field
• At least 3 to 8 years of progressive experience in business development, international business, strategic event planning & management, legal services, or related sector
• Proven track record in project management and stakeholder relationship development
• Strong analytical and communication skills – written and verbal - with attention to detail
• Experience in event planning, coordination, and implementation
• Understanding of or strong interest in international commercial dispute resolution
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in digital marketing and social media management would be advantageous
• Background in legal services or dispute resolution sector would be advantageous
• International exposure or cross-cultural working experience would be advantageous
