Deputy Director (Business and Strategic Planning Dept)
What the role is
What you will be working on
The job scope will include but not limited to the following:
- Drive processes for strategic development and ensure alignment with policies set by NEA HQ and the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment
- Oversee MSS’ corporate planning process and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Supervise secretariat and administrative support for key meetings, research collaboration projects, as well as management of budget
- Supervise requests, communication and coordination efforts between MSS, Ministries and agencies, including those involving NEA HQ
- Oversee and manage the administration of financial and procurement functions
- Manage the administration of service contracts with key customers and cost-recovery arrangements
- Supervise a team of officers
What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following:
- At least 10 - 12 years of relevant work experience, with 6 years spent in a team leadership position
- Able to multi-task well and possesses a sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and excellent communication skills, with an eye for detail
- A good team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to a high standard of service delivery
