Senior Cybersecurity Consultant (Disruptive Technology), CSEC

You will join the Cybersecurity Engineering Centre and be part of a specialised team responsible for assessing and strengthening the security posture of Singapore's critical operational technology (OT) infrastructure. As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will work with government agencies and critical infrastructure operators to protect industrial control systems, SCADA networks, and other OT environments that underpin essential services.

Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive threat analysis and risk assessments of OT environments across various sectors including energy, water, transport, and manufacturing, performing security architecture reviews tailored to industrial systems. • Develop security frameworks, policies, and technical guidelines specific to OT environments, taking into account the unique constraints and requirements of operational systems where availability and safety are paramount. • Evaluate emerging OT and cyber-physical systems security technologies. • Engage with industry and standards bodies to contribute to shaping best practices in OT cybersecurity.

Requirements • At least 5-7 years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, with deep technical knowledge of industrial protocols (such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC), control systems architectures, and OT-specific security tools. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field. • Familiarity with standards like IEC 62443, NIST CSF, or NERC CIP. • Professional certifications in OT and cyber-physical systems related certifications that demonstrate your expertise. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex OT environments and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders from plant engineers to senior management. • A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity about emerging threats, and commitment to continuous learning in this rapidly evolving field.
