What the role is

The Organisational Development (OD) & Change Manager plays a critical role in the successful implementation and adoption OD initiatives that enable culture transformation at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). The role focuses on supporting organisational diagnosis and change efforts to foster an Innovative & Enterprising (I&E) culture. He/she will work and engage with various stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to build support for OD and change initiatives and facilitate a smooth transition to a sustainable state.

What you will be working on

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve organisation development (OD) priorities to enable an I&E Culture, demonstrating deep understanding of organisational systems and their interdependencies.
  • Lead comprehensive organisational diagnoses using multiple approaches such as employee surveys, pulse checks, focus groups, stakeholder interviews and ground-sensing observations.
  • Design, develop and facilitate effective leadership and OD interventions to enhance I&E Culture.
  • Support organisational change initiatives while building change capability across the organisation.
  • Apply process consultation skills to help groups and leaders navigate their challenges and co-create effective change processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of OD and change management initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive and supportive change culture within NYP, promoting the benefits and value of transformation initiatives to staff.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in OD and apply them to enhance NYP’s OD approach.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant qualification, preferably in organisational development-related or change management-related fields.
  • Proven experience in organizational development or change management, preferably with a diverse portfolio covering culture, process and technology-related implementations.
  • Strong understanding of organizational development principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential barriers to change.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in project management and knowledge of project management methodologies will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant change management certifications (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of evolving technologies and their impacts to organizations and work will be an added advantage.
