The Communications and Engagement Cluster manages PSD’s internal communications to public officers across the Public Service, and external communications to members of public and media. We work with partners to encourage public officers to grow their skills and pursue agile innovation and foster a culture of care and support for well-being within the Public Service. We also seek to build awareness of the diverse and rewarding careers offered by the Public Service.
We are looking for a creative and experienced multimedia storyteller to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in developing compelling content to communicate key messages to the public and fellow public officers, through internal and external channels including social media. What you will be working on
Your specific job responsibility will be to develop multimedia content, including videos, graphics, animations, and infographics, to convey policies, messages, and initiatives.
This will include:
• Message framing: Crafting compelling and relatable narratives that resonate with the target audience, and making content more accessible and understandable.
• Strategy and planning: Developing and implementing digital communication strategies, and staying updated on multimedia content trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance content quality and engagement.
• Content creation: Creating visually appealing graphics and editing multimedia assets for posting on our platforms.
• Social media management: Schedule posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to the community.
• Website management: Maintaining and updating corporate websites, ensuring content is relevant and user-friendly.
• Analytics and reporting: Tracking, analysing and reporting on performance of creative assets.
What we are looking for
Join us if you have a passion for the people business and possess the following competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-versed in online and social media trends.
• Background in graphic design, multimedia, digital media or related fields.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects) and services and technology like CapCut, Canva and GenAI.
• Prior experience in employer branding would be a plus.
• Able to work irregular hours, when needed, to accommodate campaign deadlines.

• [Content Creation and Curation] Ability to conceptualise, develop and deliver content for a range of platforms, in particular digital and social media platforms.
• [Marketing Communications Strategy and Planning] Ability to develop and implement marketing, communications and engagement plans.
• [Message Framing & Delivery] Skilled in crafting and delivering messages that are aligned to communications strategy and objectives while considering different target audiences.
