What the role is

You develop strategic plans and frameworks to guide the holistic implementation of Leadership Development (LD) across the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

What you will be working on

- Review and refine LD doctrine, frameworks and curriculum across the three Officer Corps (Officer, Warrant Officer and Military Expert) to ensure coherence, consistency and alignment with strategic imperatives - Engage stakeholders and partners across the SAF to translate LD plans and doctrine for contextualised workplace application - Facilitate leadership lessons and engagement sessions to provide a common language and understanding for SAF commanders and leaders - Lead future leadership projects and build partnerships with leadership experts and academic institutions - Translate research into practical leadership content including curriculum, doctrines or frameworks, and promulgate at SAF-wide level Challenge(s) - Synergising diverse leadership development approaches across three Officer Corps while ensuring contextualised application across different organisations - Translating academic research and theoretical frameworks into practical, actionable leadership content that resonates across all levels of SAF leadership

What we are looking for

- Education in Industrial or Organisational Psychology, Leadership Development, Organisational Development, or Human Capital Development - A PhD in these fields is advantageous - At least 6 years of working experience involving large scale project management, with supervisory experience being advantageous - Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain extensive stakeholder networks within and beyond the SAF - Strategic and innovative thinking to formulate timely, and appropriate solutions - Excellent writing, presentation and facilitation skills - Subject matter expertise in leadership development research Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
