What the role is

The Partnership Division in ECDA aims to catalyse ECDA’s transformation and uplift the image of the Early Childhood (EC) sector by: • Driving publicity and awareness of key EC initiatives through promotion and engagement strategies • Providing high customer service through positive and consistent service experience • Facilitating customer-centric products, processes and policies through service journey reviews The Promotion & Engagement branch works with MSF and ECDA Divisions to develop and implement strategic communication & engagement strategies for the EC sector. This includes implementing integrated communications strategies to drive awareness of ECDA’s initiatives and improve public perception of careers in the EC sector, and to deepening engagement with key stakeholders to foster collaboration. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director to spearhead Promotion team which oversees the development and execution of strategic communications strategies and integrated communications plans for the EC sector and ECDA.

What you will be working on

As Assistant Director, you will develop and execute strategic communications strategies and integrated communications plans to strengthen the EC narrative, amplify our mission across Singapore's early childhood ecosystem and showcase partnership’s tangible impact on children's developmental outcomes. You will leverage data-driven insights to optimise messaging effectiveness across all touchpoints. 1. Develop strategic and integrated communication strategies that align with organisational objectives. This includes conducting stakeholder analysis, identifying key audiences, implementing multi-channel communication plans (including ECDA brand management, campaign development and PR) and evaluating effectiveness through appropriate metrics and feedback mechanisms. 2. Craft compelling narratives that translate complex policy initiatives into accessible and engaging content for diverse audiences including parents, educators, industry partners, and government stakeholders. 3. Manage Beanstalk social media and digital platforms, content creation, and community management across platforms.

What we are looking for

• Academic background in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Education, Business). • You possess a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in strategic communications, with at least 3 years in leadership roles. • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive impactful communication and engagement initiatives. • Exceptional content strategy and creation skills, with a focus on developing compelling narratives for diverse platforms. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Experience in project management and team leadership. • Strong understanding of the early childhood education landscape in Singapore.
