Senior Manager/ Manager, Anticipatory Operations Centre (AOC)
What the role is
What you will be working on
Real-Time Monitoring & Data Consolidation
- Execute daily situational monitoring across all vaping case management operations, tracking case volumes, offender demographics, and compliance patterns.
- Consolidate and verify operational data from different agencies and centers, cross-referencing intelligence across general and etomidate tracks to support early-warning assessments.
- Maintain operational dashboards and tracking systems to ensure accurate, real-time visibility of case management operations for management oversight.
Trend Analysis & Reporting Support
- Analyse enforcement and rehabilitation trends including spikes in case volumes, shifts in demographics, or compliance issues that may require management attention or escalation.
- Assist in preparation of Case Management reports, analytical summaries, and management briefings by generating insights and highlighting emerging patterns.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of reporting templates and frameworks to ensure consistent and timely management reporting.
Ops-Policy Support & Process Compliance
- Support translation of policy directives into operational processes and assist in identifying operational gaps or areas for SOP refinement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with established operational procedures and quality standards across AOC functions.
- Assist in documentation of operational decisions and maintenance of institutional knowledge records.
Inter-Agency Coordination & Stakeholder Liaison
- Coordinate with government and non-governmental agencies for case handovers and operational alignment.
- Facilitate information sharing with external partners to maintain effective working relationships.
- Participate in inter-agency meetings and operational coordination activities as required.
Duty Operations & Escalation Management
- Participate in rotational duty arrangements if required, to provide operational oversight and ensure service continuity.
- Monitor and respond to urgent operational incidents, coordinate emergency responses, and escalate complex cases to the Assistant Director as appropriate.
- Maintain situational awareness during duty periods and provide timely updates to management on critical operational matters.
Administrative & General Duties
- Provide administrative support for AOC activities including secretariat functions for operational meetings and special projects as required.
- Support training and development activities for operational staff and contribute to team capability building.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director or senior management.
What we are looking for
Qualifications and Experience
- Substantial relevant experience, preferably in public administration, public policy, data analytics, operations management, or related field with minimum 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in operations management, policy implementation, or analytical roles within government, healthcare, or regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated experience in operational monitoring, data analysis, and trend identification with ability to consolidate information from multiple sources and generate actionable insights.
- Experience working with government agencies, statutory boards, or external partners in operational or enforcement contexts.
Core Competencies and Skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills with ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-priority environments and maintain operational readiness under pressure.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy for management decision-making.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and agencies to support operational coordination and alignment.
The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract (with option for automatic renewal for a further one year) in the first instance.
