What you will be working on
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to undertake a broad spectrum of HR functions.
Leadership and Board Appointment
• Spearhead the end-to-end process for MCCY Apex and Senior Leadership roles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and governance standards in the family (Statutory Boards and Companies Limited by Guarantee).
• Strategically manage the board appointments processes, collaborating with key stakeholders to uphold MCCY's strategic direction and governance excellence.
Job Structure, Compensation and Benefits
• Lead the design and execution of comprehensive programs related to job structure, compensation, and benefits, ensuring they support capacity building and manpower planning within budgetary guidelines.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations on job sizing structure and competitive compensation strategies to department heads and HR counterparts in the family.
Others
• Ensure governance, operational compliance and data integrity.
• Initiate and lead HR projects, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the HR function.
What we are looking for
Work Experience and Knowledge
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in compensation and benefits.
• Knowledge of the Employment Act and Civil Service Instructional Manual would be an advantage.
Demonstrated Competencies
1. HR Policies, Processes & Legislation:
• Ability to apply HR policies and processes while taking into consideration employees’ and organisational needs, and legislations and industry good practices.
2. Total Rewards:
• Proficiency in assessing and enhancing Total Rewards strategies to maintain market competitiveness and fiscal responsibility.
3. Organisation Design:
• Ability to advise on job design and implementing job grading methodologies to define clear job roles and structures.
4. Project Management:
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, with a focus on delivering results within set timelines and budgets
