Communications and Engagement Division (CED) - Event Management Intern – Singapore Grand Prix 2026

The intern will be attached to the Communications and Engagement Division to assist with the management of MTI’s local and international guests at the Singapore Grand Prix 2026. This internship will provide hands-on experience for event management and operations in the public sector, in particular for a large-scale international event. The role involves the overall management of guestlists, and requires coordination and direct communication with other Ministries, Statutory Boards and key stakeholders. Other key duties include collaterals preparation, guest liaison, and ticket distribution. Interns may also be required to support the team in other supplementary work, e.g. organising meetings, writing briefs, preparing notes, etc.

• Keen interest in tourism, events, partnerships, and community engagement • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong project management skills with an eye for details • Comfortable dealing with external partners and stakeholders • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • Familiarity with MS office suite (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) • Experience in event management and operations a plus
