NED also oversees issues relating to energy Research & Development and the development of competitive and robust new energy industries in Singapore.

These can include studying the regulatory, standards, infrastructure, financial, commercial, and technological aspects of these potential energy pathways.
The final project deliverable will contribute toward NED’s efforts to reduce the cone of uncertainty for Singapore’s energy master-planning process and may be surfaced for MTI senior management’s information and consideration.
