Home Team Medical Services Division (HTMSD) / Quality Assurance and Occupational Health branch oversees the process of Medical Board reviews and assessment for Home Team (HT) officers as well as ensuring that safe and quality health / medical services are provided to HT officers. HTMSD is embarking on our Digital Transformation to support our strategies and harness technology to redefine clinical care processes for the HT. The new job role will help optimise HTMSD’s existing systems, strengthen and identify opportunities to develop and transform digital infrastructure and clinical systems to drive long-term HTMSD-wide collaborative digital innovation portfolios across services provided by HTMSD. The objective of this role is to drive operational efficiency of medical services (medical centres, medical board, occupational health services, quality assurance and research activities) and improve the safety and quality of patient care.

What you will be working on
a) Ensuring the smooth operations of medical admin services and medical board activities (including ensuring timely and efficient scheduling of HTMB reviews and return of results).
b) Managing and maintaining medical board data including audit and analysis of data.
c) Providing oversight and drive continuous evaluation and improvement of current IT projects already implemented in HTMSD / Quality Assurance and Occupational Health branch (e.g., ChatBot).
d) Leading, developing and implementing a seamless HTMSD Collaborative Digital Transformation Roadmap that spans across all functions of HTMSD (such as HT medical centres services, HTMSD medical admin and medical board process, HTMSD quality assurance programme and occupational health work pathway).
e) Strategic digital solutions for HTMSD Med Admin and Occupational Health processes including managing life cycle of system developed.
f) Risk Management and Compliance of the IT and digital solutions implemented.
g) Research and technological scan to identify new opportunities for digital health solution and address evolving medical and wellness needs of the population served by HTMSD.
What we are looking for
Knowledge
1. Qualifications in digital, ICT/Information system/computer science.
2. Project Management (APM, PMI) or equivalent project/programme management qualification from recognised professional body.
3. Evidence of continuing professional development including leadership/management and professional skills relevant to the post or working towards it.
4. Knowledge in healthcare related guidelines and regulatory control (e.g. Healthcare IT Security Policy & Standards, HealthTech Instruction Manual, Cyber and Data Security guidelines, regulatory controls for digital health)
Skills
1. Solution Architect mindset to find ICT solutions and innovate methods of working despite potential resistance.
2. Advanced problem-solving and analytical capability and ability to plan strategically in the medium and longer term.
3. Risk management (or working towards it)
Experience
1. Experience in optimizing, implementing digital/IT/ICT service, programme or solution or IT architecture and systems integration (experience as interns is also taken into consideration).
2. In depth knowledge and developed specialist knowledge in digital infrastructure specialities acquired through professional training, education or experience
Attitude
1. Can-do attitude and resilience to promote collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Strong time management and advanced self-motivation skills.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
