What you will be working on
1. Be the key representative and coordinator from the PL team, and contribute towards the success of NYC’s youth portal Discover 2.0. The entails the following to ensure business needs are met by system infrastructure with an attractive user experience and interface (UXUI) in its design; efficient enterprise process flow and up-to-date communications and approvals across various stakeholders - both internal and external:
a. Seeking timely direction and guidance from supervisors
b. Initiating and leading discussions with stakeholders
c. Planning and working on improvements and changes with colleagues and vendors
2. Co-lead with other appointed PL and/or NYC colleague(s) on back-end integration of data and ops-tech / system-related work across various NYC and/or partner platforms and databases; process development and improvements. This involves:
a. Data transition and system integration including data collection, cleaning, analysis and management;
b. Designing and/or enhancing efficient and user-friendly process flow, putting in place whole-of-government, organisation and management protocols, together with up-to-date data management and security practices.
c. Develop SOPs and guiding framework(s), to serve as reference resource for internal and external partners’ use.
3. Ideate and support automation projects, database digitalisation and process innovation initiatives. This involves:
a. Review existing data collection workflow for potential to automate data capture and user experiences
b. Developing dashboard(s) that synthesises data for real-time monitoring and strategic oversight
What we are looking for
1. Process Transformation Leadership: Proven experience leading comprehensive process reviews, workflow redesign, and system optimisation initiatives in complex organisational environments
2. Data Management Expertise: Strong capabilities in data cleaning, migration, integration, and establishing robust data governance frameworks across multiple systems
3. Digital Innovation: Experience experimenting with and implementing innovative digital solutions, automation tools, and system integrations to transform traditional processes
4. UIUX design, communications, or related fields: Strong background in customer experience design with proven experience in user research and data analysis
