The intern will support the development of a new community engagement initiative under the Bersamamu programme, which aims to strengthen post-marriage support for couples. This includes conceptualising, designing and implementing a framework for “Bersamamu Ambassadors”, a group of identified mentors who will continue supporting couples within selected mosques and family development settings.

What you will be working on
1. Programme Design and Development
- Assist in designing, developing and implementing family development programmes at partner mosques
- Participate in the full cycle: planning, execution, logistics, documentation and evaluation
- Work with at least 2 key mosques involved in family-support work (e.g. Darul Ghufran Mosque and Yusof Ishak Mosque) to gain buy-in for the Ambassador concept and co-organize events for married couples
2. Community and Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with kadis and naib kadis, married couples and identified volunteer mentors.
- Support community events, greeting guests, facilitating conversations and strengthening relationships with couples and mosque teams.
- Learn to manage interactions with stakeholders and enhance public relations and communication skills.
3. Conceptualisation and Framework building
- Work with the team to conceptualize the Bersamamu Ambassadors framework, including roles, responsibilities, training needs and future sustainability pathways.
- Propose ideas to strengthen recruitment, training and retention of Ambassadors for long term community engagement.
4. Review, Analysis and improvements
- Compile After-Action Reviews (AARs), evaluate programme outcomes and recommend improvements.
- Explore the use of technology for documentation, participant tracking and reporting.
