The intern will work with the Bersamamu team, under the guidance of a supervisor, in a collaborative and supportive environment.
He/ she will be given opportunities to contribute to real-world projects and assist in the development of Bersamamu’s first ever Commemorative Book. He/ she will ensure brand messaging and tone, with published articles and schedule shoots/ filming for the Video.
The intern also will monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and suggest improvements including creating visually engaging content.
He/ she will also perform other tasks assigned to support the communications and engagement part of the job.

What you will be working on
ROMM will be organising Kadi/ Naib Kadi Appreciation and Appointment Ceremony in May 2026. The team will strengthen the programme with a (i) Video and new Commemorative Book with Berita Harian as part of its profiling, to deepen sense of belonging and attract new collaborations to its current and potential stakeholders.
ROMM will also be organising Bersamamu Forum in Aug 2026. The team will need to evaluate and present the effectiveness of the current Bersamamu (ii) FB and develop a new (iii) Social Media Plan to promote ROMM’s programmes such as Bersamamu Forum to the public.
What we are looking for
• Currently pursuing degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences.
• Good knowledge of the trends in social media with a strong eye for design
• Excellent writing skills. Proficiency in design tools, a plus.
• Strong interests in social policy & community-building
• Ability to be independent and take initiative
