The Capability Development team provides resources and training to catalyse national security capability building efforts across Whole-of-Government (WOG), including research on cross-cutting national security risks to inform WOG efforts that address these risks.

What you will be working on
You will work in and across teams to:
• Design and run national security education programmes for public sector officers at the Head, Deputy Director, and Director/ Senior Director levels;
• Design and run an annual closed-door WOG National Security Seminar which brings together PSes, DSes, CEs, and senior officers to discuss how Government can more effectively tackle cross-cutting national security challenges;
• Partner agencies to strengthen capability building efforts across WOG to address cross-cutting national security risks;
• When required, work with relevant think tanks on outreach, engagement, and research on cross-cutting national security risks.
What we are looking for
• Experience with project management and with running programmes or events preferred;
• Experience in the public service preferred;
• Excellent facilitation, writing, and communication skills;
• Excellent stakeholder management;
• A collaborative growth mindset;
• Orientation towards detail and outcomes;
• Passion for training and skills development.
• Interest in current affairs.
