What the role is

The Government Partnerships & Engagement Group (GPEG) contributes to the development of a collaborative government that enables partnerships and engagement (PE) with citizens for a better Singapore. It does this through the development of public sector capabilities in partnerships and engagement, external partnerships, and the design and organisation of Whole-of-Government (WOG) PE initiatives. Within GPEG, the Singapore Government Partnerships Office (SGPO) serves as a “first stop” for citizens and interest groups keen on Government partnerships, by identifying opportunities for collaborations, brings people together to share knowledge, expertise and best practices on effective partnerships and share stories on inspiring changemakers to encourage more to step forward and contribute. The intern will conduct data analysis on citizens’ partnership proposals to identify trends and improvement opportunities, review and enhance existing workflow processes, and support communications activities including content coordination and profiling work.

What you will be working on

• Analyse citizens’ partnerships proposals received since 2024, and uncover trends by sector, proposal type, and support requested that can inform strategies on how SGPO can increase the number of supported proposals and better support Ecosystem Enablers (EE) to build civic capacity. • Review effectiveness of Ownself Gather (OG) system as a project management tool and identify improvement areas within current workflow processes. • Support the team with profiling and coordination of Human-Interest Stories (HIS) features that come through Partners First Stop (PFS) and Ecosystem Enablers (EE) on comms platforms.

What we are looking for

• Minimally undergraduate level who can commit at least 3 months • Keen interest in government-citizen partnerships and civic engagement • Experience with data analytics and visualisation would be an advantage • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and interact with stakeholders Application Details: We are seeking interns who can commit on a full-time basis for a max of 3 months any period from May 2026 to Sep 2026 To apply: • Please submit your CV/ resume • Indicate your internship availability period
