What the role is

We are the Sports Division, High Performance Sport Team in Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). You will be part of a team that reviews and implements policies and programmes to support the well-being and sporting aspirations of our national athletes. You will be exposed to how policies are translated to implementation on the ground. Your efforts to improve case management and tracking will contribute towards building public trust and confidence in government policies.

What you will be working on

You will support the Sports Division High Performance Sport team’s work in case management and tracking through: i) Recommending and implementing process improvement and automation of current workflows to enhance efficiency (e.g. applications for NS sporting privileges, appeals from members of public) ii) Providing analysis and trends to support the review of existing policies

What we are looking for

• Minimally pre-tertiary or undergraduate level who can commit at least 3 months • Proficient in MS Office Applications and interested in technological applications and innovations. Knowledge of applications of AI and agentic AI tools would be useful • Keen interest in public policy, process improvement projects, and government-citizen partnerships • Able to write well and communicate clearly • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and interact with stakeholders Application Details: We are seeking interns who can commit on a part/full-time basis for a max of 3 months any period from Jan 2026 to Mar 2026 To apply: • Please submit your CV/ resume • Indicate your internship availability period
