Sports Division (SD) works alongside our partners Sport Singapore (SportSG), Singapore Sports School, National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI), Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) and Singapore National Paralympic Council (SNPC) to develop and implement policies and programmes that support the sporting aspirations of Singaporeans.
You will be part of the Sports Sector Development (SPD) team to review and implement policies and programmes to create greater sporting opportunities and access for all Singaporeans to foster inclusive, healthier and connected communities. This includes the planning and development of sports infrastructure and initiatives such as ActiveSG and GetActive! Singapore, as well as sports programmes and efforts by the Singapore Sports Hub, guided by Vision 2030 blueprint for the sector.

What you will be working on
You will support the Sports Division Sports Sector Development team to review and implement policies and initiatives by –
i) Doing an international landscape scan of successful and impactful sport programming;
ii) Implementing pilot models for sports programming; and
iii) Garnering citizens’ feedback and experiences on active lifestyles and their sporting aspirations.
What we are looking for
• Minimally pre-tertiary or undergraduate level who can commit at least 3 months
• Keen interest in public policy and government-citizen partnerships for sports sector development
• Able to write well and communicate clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and interact with stakeholders
