Internship
Closing on 15 Jan 2026

What the role is

Project title: Support for senior/female employment The Workplace Policy and Strategy Division’s mission is to achieve “Thriving Workplaces that Promote Economic Growth and Safeguard our Social Compact”. In doing so, we consider the need to sustain strong business growth and a healthy labour market; the profound shifts in the way work is done and societal attitudes towards work; and longer term economic, demographic and technological changes. To support seniors, women, and caregivers to remain in the workforce, we convened the Tripartite Workgroup on Senior Employment (TWG-SE) in Jul 2025 to develop policy recommendations on senior employment, and rolled out the Tripartite Guidelines on Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) Requests in Dec 2024, which shapes norms and expectations around FWAs. This internship project will focus on (a) studying implementing considerations for senior employment recommendations, and (b) researching strategies to support females/caregivers to return to work.

What you will be working on

The intern will support the implementation of policy recommendations on senior employment. For female employment, the intern will conduct research and ideate potential strategies to encourage females/caregivers to return to work and communicate with different groups of stakeholders to develop these strategies. The intern may also be involved in discussions with stakeholders including tripartite partners and other agencies on these projects.

What we are looking for

Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, writing and communication skills, critical thinking and analytical skills.
