Senior Manager (imPAct@Hong Lim Green)

What the role is

This is a supervisory position responsible for leading imPAct@Hong Lim Green (iHLG) as a hub that empowers working professionals to engage in community change through volunteering and curated programmes. The role requires working on shifts including weekdays and weekends to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational management.

What you will be working on

Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Supervise, motivate, and develop staff to deliver effective performance and service excellence. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and support for team development, and ensure compliance with Government regulations and procedures.

Volunteer Management and Programme Development

  • Formulate, review, and strengthen volunteer management framework to develop iHLG as a hub for working professionals to connect to cause-based volunteering in the community.

  • Lead the implementation and evaluation of initiatives and programmes to engage working professionals and at the same time promote cause-based volunteerism.

  • Analyse trends on the types of volunteering opportunities and experiences sought by working professionals and glean insights from data and research to guide programming and strategic direction to strengthen engagement of working professionals.

  • Oversee the collection and generation of outlet participation reports and prepares meeting/presentation materials for analysis, review, and recommendations for interventions

Financial Management and Operations

  • Oversee the finance and procurement functions of the outlet, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures.

  • Monitor and manage budget utilisation to meet targets and achieve projected income goals.

  • Formulate financial strategies and cost-effectiveness measures to optimise outlet operations.

  • Prepare financial reports and projections for review and decision-making.

Partnership Development

  • Plan, develop and build strategic win-win collaborations with both Community, Corporate partners and cause based groups; and identify and develop new ones.

  • Enhance partnership with existing partners to co-create and develop sustainable programmes to widen outreach to the corporates and working professionals.  

  • Collaborate with PA divisions and grassroots organisations to shape and develop local community volunteering opportunities for working professionals.

Advisory Committee Management

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with imPAct's Advisory Committee, including agenda preparation and follow-up actions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Advisory Committee members to ensure effective collaboration.

  • Provide thought leadership to synergise efforts with the Advisory Committee and translate their guidance into actionable strategies.

What we are looking for

  • Provides administrative support and undertakes ad-hoc Divisional projects and events when assigned.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned by Senior Officers.
  • Manage, monitor and analyse all feedback types to maintain high-quality service standards and ensure quality and timely responses to drive a culture of service excellence.
