Manager (Projects)
What the role is
What you will be working on
Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job. This will include the important result areas (what) along with the rationale (why).
- Assist Senior Manager (Projects) in formulating and implementing and reviewing plans for the development of CDC to achieve community goals
- Generates innovative programmes to promote community bonding and social cohesion in the GRC and work with the Constituency GCDs, CDs and CO staff to encourage and help the GROs to implement these programmes
- Work closely with the GRLs, Constituency GCDs, CDs and CO staff in providing social and employment assistance to the needy within the GRC
- Works closely with the GRLs and Council Members to monitor and coordinate CDC initiated and CDC-funded programmes/projects
- Plan and implement community programmes for the needy by initiating collaborations among CDC functional committees, GROs and community stakeholders within the District
- To engage in research, needs assessments and gather data to build institutional knowledge to enhance effectiveness of our community projects.
- Attends CDC, CCC and social services-related meetings/events to provide prompt and direct service to stakeholders
- Account management services to partners and serve as CDC’s key liaison between partners and CDC’s internal stakeholders
- Coordination of engagement, hospitality, and relationship-building efforts across internal and external stakeholders
- Provide secretariat and administrative support to the Council committee set up to develop partnership and volunteer management
What we are looking for
Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned by senior officers
Knowledge & Skills
At least 1 year of relevant working experience, and have significant extracurricular involvement and or leadership
Others
Knowledge of 2nd language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or dialects)
