Senior Manager (Active Ageing & Family Life)

What the role is

Supports and coordinates AA transformation efforts across People's Association (PA), including working with PA Active Ageing (AA) Council, Grassroots Organizations (including AA Committees, Senior Citizens' Executive Committees (SCECs), Residents’ Committees/Residents’ Networks (RCs/RNs) and community partners on their strategic initiatives and operational responsibilities.

What you will be working on

  • You will support the Active Ageing Team to ensure the successful transformation and implementation of People’s Association (PA)'s senior engagement initiatives, including strategic planning, partnership coordination, and programme monitoring across PA Active Ageing Council and Grassroots Organisations. 

  • You will assist in translating strategic directions into practical frameworks, coordinate cross-sector partnerships with government agencies and community stakeholders, and facilitate pilot initiatives whilst ensuring effective budget management and compliance with financial processes. 

  • You will also support research and data collection activities, manage communications and stakeholder engagement, develop publicity materials to enhance PA's visibility in the senior landscape, and contribute to capability building programmes for staff and volunteers across the PA Active Ageing network.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a related field
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong relationship management capabilities, including stakeholder engagement and collaborative partnership building
  • Good organisational and project management abilities
  • Strong administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines and work requirements
