Intern - Automated Repairs for Interlocking Pavers

What you will be working on
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of robotic repair solutions for interlocking pavers which includes but not limited to:
• Conducting research and feasibility studies on automated paver maintenance systems
• Supporting the design and testing of robotic solutions for interlocking paver repairs, including programming and calibration of robotic systems
• Carrying out cost-effectiveness analysis for robotic repair solutions compared to traditional maintenance methods
• Liaising and collaborating with various stakeholders including technology vendors, contractors and maintenance teams to refine robotic repair processes
• Researching on emerging technologies and best practices in automated infrastructure maintenance
• Conducting performance analysis on the efficiency and accuracy of robotic paver repair systems
• Managing project deliverables and claims for research project
• Assisting in other innovation initiatives and projects with HDB
What we are looking for
Internship Period: 11 May - 31 Jul 2026
Preferred Disciplines: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering
Remarks: If you are passionate about sustainability in the built environment and wish to gain hands-on experience in the field, we encourage you to apply for this internship. Knowledge in AI/ Machine learning will be beneficial.
