Assistant Finance Executive/ Senior Assistant Finance Executive (Payment Officer

What the role is

As a Senior Assistant/ Assistant Finance Executive (Payment Officer) for Finance Section, Admin Branch in the Curriculum Planning & Development Division, you will support the day-to-day finance operations of the assigned branches. You will provide professional advice, guidance and support in financial matters relating to payments, reimbursements of general claims and goods receipt.

What you will be working on

• Process all Purchase Order electronic invoices and manual invoices promptly and ensure all approvals are sought and supporting documents are in order before payment • Execute funds/ grants downloads for school programmes/ projects, and all other journal adjustments promptly and accurately • Monitor, update and reconcile an internal control document timely and accurately to facilitate tracking of expenditure and availability of funds • Process all general claim reimbursements and perform the role of a site administrator for a HR system, including the coordination with the system owner on any issues arising

What we are looking for

• Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills • A dynamic team player • Meticulous and detailed, comfortable with figures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Familiarity with government payment guidelines and/ or systems would be an advantage • Preferably with background in finance As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
