What the role is
What you will be working on
As a member of the Outreach and Engagement team, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing MSE’s strategies to engage and partner 3P (People, Private, Public) sectors, key stakeholders and members of the public to foster a shared ownership of the environment, food and water resources in Singapore. Your key responsibilities may include:
• Develop and implement engagement strategies to forge partnership with key stakeholders
• Perform research and data analysis to understand public and stakeholder perceptions and sentiments
• Collaborate with key partners to engage different stakeholder groups
• Cultivate a network of environmental champions
• Draft speeches, talking points, social media posts and other communications materials on a regular basis
• Provide relevant staffing support to political office holders on a regular basis
• Manage public feedback and enquiries, and ensure service standards are achieved
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as social sciences, mass communications, marketing, or public relations
• Relevant experience in public relations and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Independent, motivated and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
