What the role is
What you will be working on
Under our City in Nature vision, you will be responsible for the management of selected parks and park connectors to provide a safe and pleasant experience for park visitors, and to bring park visitors closer to nature. Your work will also require keen interest and knowledge in nature and greenery to carry out landscape and infrastructure development/maintenance works. You will also implement a range of activities involving the community, including programming, education and outreach, tree-planting events, as well as various habitat enhancement projects.
What we are looking for
Areas of study in Botany, Plant Science, Landscape Design, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Passion for outdoor activities such as biking and hiking, community interaction, and nature conservation.
Independent working capability, multitasking ability, and readiness to enforce regulations when necessary.
Strong interpersonal, writing, and digital skills.
Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Proficiency in GIS mapping software is desirable.
The successful candidate will be placed on a 11-month employment contract. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
