The incumbent works in a team responsible for the planning, development and implementation of compliance controls to effectively and efficiently safeguard the integrity of the work pass framework. The key responsibilities include developing and operationalising plans and measures to detect, deter and prevent fraud and circumvention of regulations and controls in the work pass systems.

What you will be working on
• Establish relevant and effective processes to detect, deter and prevent work pass fraud
• Conduct compliance checks on work pass transactions
• Operationalise fraud controls and develop workflows
• Assess and respond to appeals and enquiries
• Analyse data to draw relevant insights for policy and operation improvements
• Plan and implement measures, in partnership with relevant government agencies and stakeholders, to detect, deter and prevent gaming and abuses of work pass controls by companies or workers
• Plan and conduct fraud-related reviews and checks on specific archetypes and work pass transactions
What we are looking for
• Experience or knowledge in compliance work would be advantageous
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Good team player with a customer-focused mindset
• Be able to work independently and adaptive to complex changes
