Assistant Manager/Manager (Families For Life @ Community Branch), FLG/PTR

Family Life Group strengthens and supports families to realise the vision of making Singapore the best place for family life through our policies, programmes and publicity efforts. Strong families are the building blocks of a caring community. We want to help families realise their hopes and aspirations, strengthen familial bonds and support them in overcoming challenges.

You will be part of the Partnership (PTR) Division in FLG to help nurture a community-based, family-friendly support ecosystem across all stages of life. We promote family-centric campaigns, parenting and marriage programmes and forms partnerships with community stakeholders and volunteers to promote and strengthen families. You will work with stakeholders (community and corporate partners) in the community to deliver initiatives and develop outreach strategies through understanding and analysing trends and ground needs in the community. Responsibilities: a) Plan and implement outreach strategies to increase adoption of family-life programmes and initiatives in the community b) Partner stakeholders in the community to broaden and deepen outreach to families and to co-create programmes/activities c) Understand families’ needs in the community before developing and implementing solutions with internal and external stakeholders

• Relevant qualifications, preferably with experience in community building • Excellent written, communication, presentation and project management skills • Driven and self-motivated, able to multi-task • Able to work, engage and communicate well with different internal and external stakeholders • Be prepared to do community outreach, including weekends • A team player who is willing to commit to a fast-paced, albeit fulfilling job Only shortlisted candidates will be notified within 4 weeks from the closing date of this position.
