What the role is

District Administration (DA) ensure mosques' compliance with policies and guidelines in the areas of
• governance
• risk management
• financial accountability and sustainability
• human resource
• mosque building
• maintenance and upgrading
• and other statutory regulations including effective monitoring and oversight.
DA also provides support and advice to mosques on corporate and administration matters and manage the leadership & capacity development for the mosque fraternity.

What you will be working on

Oversee DA matters including ensuring mosques’ adherence to the governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) framework for OMS, in collaboration with PolicyFutures@OneMosqueSector (PFM).

Primary Role

  • Guide MMB and mosque staff to adhere to the OMS GRC framework, including monitoring and audits

  • Lead District-level capacity development programmes and initiatives to strengthen mosques’ GRC capability

  • Provide support and advice to mosques on corporate and administration matters - finance, HR, ICT, building & development including coordination with OMS HQ and other MUIS units and entities.

  • Manage District budget and expenditures

  • Manage the appointment of the Mosque Management Boards (MMB) for the District

Secondary Role

  • Lead District-level projects that contribute towards District South goals

  • Produce District South Quarterly Report for mosque leaders

  • Provide quarterly analysis on District South mosque finances

What we are looking for

Candidate should preferably have

  • Tertiary qualifications with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including in a supervisory role

  • Good understanding of corporate administration matters.

  • Good analytical ability and possess strong problem-solving skills to identify solutions and best practices for stakeholders and make sound recommendations

  • Good negotiation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills

Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
