As part of MND’s Digitalisation Office, you will design, build, and deploy AI/ML models and data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making across MND divisions. This includes developing AI-powered tools to automate repetitive tasks, enhance operational forecasting or analytics capabilities, and support data-driven policy formulation. You will lead analytics initiatives to provide actionable insights for diverse domains such as infrastructure, communications, and corporate functions. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping MND’s AI and digitalisation roadmap, driving Generative AI adoption, and transforming data and AI into strategic assets that enhance MND’s internal efficiency and service delivery.

What you will be working on
AI/ML Development & Deployment
• Develop and validate AI/ML models, including generative AI applications.
• Implement MLOps pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Build AI-powered tools (e.g., chatbots, automation solutions) for internal use cases.
• Write production quality code, optimised and containerised AI-models and related solutions for deployment on Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).
Data Analytics & Automation
• Engage stakeholders across MND divisions to identify data needs and operational use cases, co-creating tailored analytical solutions.
• Develop dashboards and analytics solutions for operational insights to enable resource optimization and data-informed decision-making.
• Lead automation initiatives using relevant tools to streamline processes.
• Apply and guide business units on best practices for data handling, model governance, and performance optimisation.
• Share knowledge and mentor teams on AI engineering and analytics practices.
What we are looking for
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science roles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerisation (AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environment is strongly preferred.
• Certifications in AI/ML or cloud technologies will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Data Analytics & AI – Ability to apply machine learning and AI techniques to solve complex problems and deliver actionable insights.
• Application Development – Skilled in designing and developing applications that meet user needs and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.
• Data Strategy – Strong analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaboration & Communication – Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
