What the role is

Be part of the URA Information Systems, Application Department, where we partner closely with our Groups to plan, design, develop and deploy enterprise IT systems, e-Services, mobile apps and web portals to support work process transformation and improve service delivery for our external customers. In addition to providing IT advisory and support to continually improve our IT systems to ensure its relevance and capability to meet changing business needs, we also constantly explore new digital technologies and possibilities via collaboration with key industry players to advance strategic deployment of ICT in URA.

What you will be working on

You will be a key member of the Security Engineering unit under Digital Quality Office team, working closely with passionate Systems Analysts, driven and supportive Director and visionary CIO, to drive and transform IT processes and ensure quality implementation of IT Systems and digital services in an agile approach. • Plan and Design – Opportunity to further develop your leadership and expertise through the review and implementation of improvements to Application Security Roadmap, practices, KPIs and DevSecOps process; provide security design advice to application projects. • Assess and Test – Opportunity to deepen your technical skills by performing application security testing e.g. DAST, SAST and providing advice to application teams on the vulnerabilities remediation. • Manage and Improve – Opportunity to expand your influence by working closely with various stakeholders (e.g. external consultants), building internal competencies on application security and work on new improvement projects e.g. IAST, DevSecOps integration.

What we are looking for

● Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines. ● Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in application security, with software development past experience an added advantage. ● Strong interest and passion for the field of infocomm security, specifically in the area of application security and good knowledge on web security e.g. OWASP. ● Effective presentation, communication and writing skills. ● Relevant industry recognised certifications e.g. OSCP, OSWE
