RPG undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children and families. What you will be working on

Brief description of Job Scope: • Work and collaborate with Partners on Out of Home (OHC) placements for vulnerable children and Adults • Case analysis and right siting of placements of cases into OHC care • Review and analysis of placement trends • Review of SOPs, strategies and workflows to facilitate matching and placement process Job Description: • Review of SOPs, strategies and other related work processes on matching and placements to ensure a well-coordinated and effective flow of placements into OHC (including developing of matching and placement modules in Case Central) • Assist in the analysis work on placement trends, demand etc. • Conduct literature review to identify placement options and analyse data on the profile of types of cases requiring OHC placement • Liaise and work closely with OHC agencies (foster parents, fostering agencies, children’s homes and disability homes, Sheltered homes, WH etc. to identify placement options for children and vulnerable adults requiring out of home care. • Work closely with child/adult protection service and other referral agencies to assess the needs of children and vulnerable adults requiring out of home care to ensure right-siting of placement • Provide secretariat work in the admission of cases into therapeutic homes by organising discussion meetings with management from CIC, CPS and CFPS • Process admission requests to TGH/PSGC for approval and assist in the review of admission and evaluation criteria. • Ensure all placement/transfer details are correctly keyed into the system for accuracy of statistical data and approve matching and placement in system.

What we are looking for

Requirements: • Background in Social Work or related disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in social services. • Interest in making a difference to vulnerable children and families • Ability to collaborate and engage internal and external stakeholders and communicate well with them • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and ability for conceptual thinking and multitasking. • Good written and engagement skills, problem solving, • Proficient in MS Excel, data analysis skills, etc. • A team player who is also able to work independently under pressure Functional Competencies: • Case Management-Engagement, Assessment, and Planning • Case Management- Intervention, Review and Documentation • Social and Community Development • Service Strategy and Policy Planning • Service Operations Planning and Management Only shortlisted candidates will be notified within 4 weeks from the closing date of this position.
