What the role is

You will be part of a dynamic HR team in MOM that look into the area of compensation and benefits, performance management; conduct and discipline.

What you will be working on

You will lead a team to oversee the review and implementation of policies, guidelines and processes in the following key areas: • Annual appraisal, ranking and promotion exercise • Conduct management and discipline eg. case investigations, code of conduct exercises • Compensation eg. salary scheme reviews, salary adjustments, allowance framework, salary component payouts such as bonus and increment • Benefits entitlement eg. Leave, medical, transport • National Day and Long Service Awards As part of the HR team, you will also take on various HR initiatives to help the Ministry to better recognize and reward officers’ contributions and performance.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary Qualifications and IHRP certification is a plus • Relevant work experience in HR and leading teams • An understanding of the Civil and Public Service system is advantageous. • Proficient in Excel, and comfortable with managing IT systems. • Other key attributes: i. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills ii. Meticulous with an eye for detail iii. Highly logical with strong analytical skills iv. Team player, able to
