What you will be working on
You will be part of the Partnership (PTR) Division within the Family Life Group (FLG), working to nurture a community-based, family-friendly support ecosystem across the life course.
You will contribute to strengthening marriage and parenting support by working with practitioners, volunteers, and partners to build their capability to support families effectively.
Responsibilities
a) Plan and implement capability-building initiatives to strengthen the practice of practitioners, volunteers, and partners supporting families
b) Design and facilitate learning platforms, such as peer learning groups and training sessions, to support shared learning and reflective practice
c) Review and refine training and development approaches to ensure they remain relevant and aligned to sector needs
d) Partner internal and external stakeholders, including community organisations and volunteers, to strengthen collaboration and build community capability to support families
What we are looking for
• Relevant qualifications in a related discipline, preferably in the social sciences
• Strong written, communication, presentation, and project management skills
• Good analytical, qualitative and quantitative, conceptualisation, and problem-solving abilities
• Able to take a broad strategic perspective while remaining grounded in community realities
• Self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Comfortable working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
• A collaborative team player who is keen to contribute to a fast-paced, meaningful, and purpose-driven role
