Senior Finance Manager (2-year contract)

What the role is

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our Financial Accounting team for a cross-agency collaboration project supporting statutory board operations. You will contribute to an inter-agency initiative, gaining experience in statutory board financial management and cross-government collaboration. This role involves working primarily with the Board of Architects (BOA) whilst also supporting URA's financial operations, offering exposure to various financial frameworks across different organisational contexts. This is a 2-year non-renewable contract role providing exposure to public sector financial management and inter-agency project work.

What you will be working on

• Conducting comprehensive reviews of financial transactions and financial operations analysis, including developing recommendations for process improvements and implementing the measures • Supporting financial compliance and sustainability initiatives to ensure fiscal balance • Presenting findings and recommendations to management and project stakeholders • Participating in cross-agency collaboration efforts and knowledge sharing • Contributing to process streamlining and system optimisation projects • Managing financial systems and processes, which may include revenue accounting and investment accounting • Providing financial advisory support to various departments on budgeting, reporting, and operational matters

What we are looking for

• A good degree in Accountancy, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience • Experience in using Workday will be an advantage • Good communication, analytical, writing and presentation skills • Able to work independently as well as in a team, in a fast-paced environment • Preferably a member of ISCA
