What the role is
This role focuses on developing and implementing Singapore's tokenisation strategy, driving digital asset innovation while ensuring robust regulatory oversight and market integrity. You will engage with banks, insurers, FinTech firms, and technology leaders on policy developments, whilst leading strategic projects that reinforce Singapore's position as a global financial technology and innovation hub.
What you will be working on
Supporting the development of technology policies and multilateral partnerships that strengthen Singapore's role in the global digital economy and financial innovation ecosystem
Monitoring and analysing international regulatory developments, technology trends, and policy landscapes to support strategic decision-making
Assisting with stakeholder engagement activities with international policymakers, financial institutions, and technology firms to understand global developments and inform Singapore's strategic positioning
Providing research and analytical support for cross-functional teams on technology developments, including preparation of policy papers, presentations, and stakeholder communications

What we are looking for
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Finance, Technology, Computer Science, Political Science or related field
Master's degree in relevant discipline would be advantageous
Previous experience in policy development, government relations, international cooperation, or regulatory affairs within financial services or technology sectors
Experience working with international organisations, multilateral institutions, or cross-border regulatory frameworks would be advantageous
Professional certifications in digital assets, blockchain, FinTech, or policy-related qualifications would be beneficial
Personal Attributes:
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organisational levels, both internally and externally
Strong relationship-building capabilities to develop effective working partnerships within the department and with external collaborators
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments whilst managing multiple competing priorities and responding with agility to changing stakeholder needs and market developments
Robust analytical skills combined with strong attention to detail and accuracy
