What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities
You will –
1. Support the review, development, and implementation of strategic policies to strengthen Singapore's IP services ecosystem and advance industry competitiveness.
2. Support the review, development and implementation of policies and programmes for the Registry of Patents, Designs and Plant Varieties (including legislative reform, stakeholder engagement, and operational implementation).
3. Monitor effectiveness and impact of Patents, Designs and Plant Varieties policies and programmes.
4. Monitor international developments in Patents, Designs and Plant Varieties to assess strategic impact on Singapore's interests.
5. Represent Singapore’s interests at international meetings/forums regarding Patent, Designs and/or Plant Varieties matters (may require foreign travel up to three times a year, each trip usually not longer than five working days).
What we are looking for

1. At least 3 years of work experience, ideally in policy analysis and implementation or industry development.
2. Committed work ethic, and a team player.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Modest stakeholder engagement skills.
5. Background in law and/or intellectual property will be advantageous
