What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be involved in developing a report mapping out the value chain of RES-related companies in Singapore. The RES sectors cover the environmental services (primarily waste management and circular economy), water (particularly industrial water solutions), and agri-food (urban agriculture, aquaculture, and alternative proteins) sectors.
You will engage with stakeholders to understand and map out the value chain of local companies in the RES sectors. You will also assess the economic value add and jobs contributed by the various links in the value chain. Based on the findings, you will be asked to analyse the RES ecosystem, such as areas of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (as well as suggested mitigation/adaptation measures and follow-up actions).
What we are looking for
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and interest in environmental/water/agri-food science/engineering/technology
- Interest in learning about the RES sector ecosystem in Singapore
- Experience with industry development work will be an added advantage
Period of Internship: 1 May 2026 to 31 Aug 2026
