What the role is

Development of Singapore's National Adaptation Plan (NAP) - Public Engagements

What you will be working on

The intern will be attached to MSE’s Energy & Climate Policy Division (ECPD) to support the development of Singapore's first National Adaptation Plan (NAP), which will chart out Singapore's long-term, living strategy to enhance our climate resilience. Specifically, this role will involve supporting our public engagement efforts, including: 1. Working with other agencies to organise focus group discussions (FGDs) with various stakeholders on climate adaptation issues. 2. Coordinating with external vendors on logistics for public engagement events 3. Consolidating key findings and feedback from the engagements to inform the preparation of the NAP

What we are looking for

1. Good attitude to learn 2. Good verbal and written communication skills 3. Keen interest in environmental/climate change resilience issues 4. Good project management skills 5. Prior experience in conducting stakeholder engagements would be useful Period of Internship: 1 Apr 2026 - 30 Sep 2026 Standard working hours with hybrid working arrangements (Note: Might need to work beyond working hours for engagement events as necessary)
