What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the core team supporting Singapore’s preparations for the COP31 Singapore Pavilion in Türkiye. This internship offers hands-on exposure to international climate diplomacy, large-scale event planning, and strategic communications. This opportunity will allow you to experience how policy work translates to international climate action.
Your work will be to assist in concept development, narrative planning, and thematic design for the Singapore Pavilion, ensuring that its overall storyline, visual identity, and strategic messaging align with Singapore’s climate priorities.
This specific role will focus on supporting programme curation across fireside chats, panel discussions, MoU signings, and high-level ministerial events, ensuring each session is coherent, impactful, and aligned with broader Pavilion themes. In addition, you will have opportunities to coordinate with partner agencies, NGOs, international organisations, and private-sector stakeholders to shape Pavilion sessions and exhibitions.
What we are looking for
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in climate policy, sustainability, and international negotiations
- Ability to conduct clear, structured research and synthesise complex information quickly
- Good organisational and project management skills; comfortable handling multiple tasks
- Familiarity with event planning, stakeholder engagement, or public communications is an advantage
