Science Centre Singapore is looking for a temporary Member Engagement Officer to provide essential support to our Business Development department.
This role will work together with the team in both Membership Sales and Membership Operational aspects inclusive of the following daily duties.

What you will be working on
Membership Support:
• Provide administrative support on membership email enquiries with timely feedback, as well as customer support system and ensure all enquiries are follow-up promptly within 3 working days.
• Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system on generic membership database matters such as backend troubleshooting in the CRM system.
• Provides customer service operations on membership requests & enquiries.
• Perform membership refund and request includes sales orders, amendments, and cancellations.
• Contribute to research and designing of products and recommendation for membership related experience.
• Coordinate with various departments in sales process and the development of marketing collaterals.
• Provide support in all payment processing matters for both online and offline.
• Work with internal dept to create unique promo codes for open-dated tickets for membership related products.
• Coordinate communication and meetings amongst relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate sale of products and after sales services for existing customers based on their requirements.
• Provide support and follow up on associate and corporate membership matters.
Event Delivery Support:
• Support BD dept events / duties such as membership events, sales activation plans.
• Involve in the operations / ground activation for membership related events such as roadshows, and tradeshows.
• Facilitate setup and tear-down for all membership related events.
What we are looking for
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in customer service, membership administration, or sales support preferred.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and service skills.
• Familiar with CRM systems and basic backend administrative tasks.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational and coordination skills.
• Able to handle sales orders, refunds, amendments, cancellations, and payment processing.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable supporting events and on-ground activations when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer support systems.
• Team player who is proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently.
• Able to commit to an 11-month temporary contract.
• Able work on weekends if required.
